Tribal Nail Art

Image
I think I have found my favourite design to do.  Tribal. If I am lacking nailspiration, I know I can do a tribal design, which will look pretty creative and interesting, without having to think too much.  After being away at the Commonwealth Games for a few weeks, not having too much time to do my nails, I decided to get back into nail art by doing a bright tribal design. I used PS Nail Polish (From Primark - £1!) in Orange and Mint Green, as well as a Glow in the Dark PS Nail Polish (Primark - £1.50) in Yellow. The blue I used was Collection 2000 'Blue Hawaii' (Poundland, £1 for 3!). For the detail, I used a black Rio nail art pen and a white nail art pen from Primark. I made a cabochon ring to match my nails!  What is your 'go to' nail art?

Clyde-Sider Journey - Part Ten

Welcome to Part Ten of my Clyde-Sider series. I have (mostly) written these posts as I have done the various media days, training days and shifts (or a day or two after).  I hope you enjoy the tales of my time volunteering for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games!!  This is a very picture heavy post, oops! On the 3rd, I was on an early shift and had very little to do first thing.  Everyone else was out and about on drives, so Clyde & I watched the women's road race on TV in Canada HQ.  Once everyone returned, Suzie & I had a little walk around the village and it was starting to feel pretty empty!  The weather definitely wasn't as good towards the end of the Games, and we got absolutely soaked returning from our late lunch, but luckily it was time for me to get changed and get ready to go to the Closing Ceremony. I went to Burger King (again - gotta make the most of it! haha) for dinner, and then I met up with Hannah. We were one row from the front!  The Closing

Clyde-Sider Journey - Part Nine

Welcome to Part Nine of my Clyde-Sider series. I have (mostly) written these posts as I have done the various media days, training days and shifts (or a day or two after).  I hope you enjoy the tales of my time volunteering for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games!! I was off all day on the  30th  as I had athletics tickets for the morning session with Hannah - the only tickets I had won from the ticketing ballot.  I also managed to get a ticket for the evening session from Martin as his friend couldn't make it from London and was selling his two tickets.  Unfortunately I couldn't find anyone to go with, but I wasn't going to miss it just for that reason!! In the morning, we saw: Men's 200m Round 1 Women's Long Jump Qualifying Men's Discus Qualifying Women's High Jump Qualifying Men's 400m Hurdles Round 1 Women's Heptathlon Long Jump Women's 800m Round 1 Katherine & Lindsay!!
