#GetLucky - Shades of Green

This is a 4 day challenge set up by Jessica at Be Happy and Buy Polish, ready for St Patrick's Day. 

Today is Day One and the prompt is 'Shades of Green'.  I really like how this turned out.  I didn't really plan it, I chose my shades of green and I just went for it.  Should have used striping tape for neater lines but was planning on finishing it off with glitter lines or black lines, but I thought that would cover up most of the green and went for a glitter topcoat instead so the lines weren't too obviously not perfectly straight. I don't like green very much, but I definitely didn't mind having this in my nails :)

    I really like how you made the lines in different places on each nail. I think it adds a lot of interest and depth to this manicure

    I love it! Your lines are really straight even without striping tape, and I love how the glitter adds an extra something. :)

Nailsxo World Cup Nails 2014 Nigeria Nails & Football, two of my favourite things! Aussie Daft!

If you don't already know, I am a huge fan of Formula One.  I have watched it for as long as I can remember, back in the days where there were races on TV at 3am in the morning. Back then, the driver I was cheering on was David Coulthard - he comes from the same region as me!  Fast forward to 2007 and as well as cheering for DC, I couldn't help but also root for DC's teammate Mark Webber - another intelligent driver and nice guy.  Following on from Webber's retirement, his replacement at Red Bull in 2014 was another Aussie, Daniel Ricciardo.  It is hard not to warm to Ricciardo, as he is one of the smiliest and most genuine drivers on the grid - he is also a very talented racing driver, producing some wonderful overtakes, and completely outshining champion Sebastian Vettel in his first season with Red Bull.
