Queen of the South v Cowdenbeath 21.03.2015

A fantastic 4-1 victory for Queen of the South over Cowdenbeath helped in the race for the final play off place.  Not only was it a huge step towards the play offs, it was the perfect result for me as I predicted the scoreline days earlier.  My prediction even won me an awesome QOS beach towel, courtesy of the Queens Trust!!

After having my camera for a while now, I decided that I should take it for its first visit to Palmerston.

Solar Eclipse 20.03.2015

I must admit, I do find space fascinating.  It is a dream of mine to go a little further North, and experience the Northern Lights in all their glory.  I have seen them once before, years and years ago down near Annan, Dumfries & Galloway, but would love to see them again and try and photograph them.

There was meant to be quite a lot of solar activity recently, however, on the night that the Northern Lights were to be easiest to spot, it was a cloudy night here.  I was definitely much luckier when it came to Friday morning's solar eclipse though.  There was a little cloud but not enough to hide the eclipse.
