Nails Inc - Hanover Square

Wow, it feels like a long time since I did a nail blog post - and I think it actually has been (November! Oops)!  I seem to have been a little busy crafting away, and when I have done my nails, I haven't had time to photograph them!

Anyway, a while ago - November(!) - free with the December issue of GLAMOUR Magazine was a full size Nails Inc nail polish.  There were four to choose from.
Back in November, I wrote about Wigmore Street, and soon after purchased another copy of the magazine in order to get one of the other polishes.  I chose Hanover Square because I didn't have any other polish like it.  Sadly, I misplaced the polish and have only recently found it (phew!).

Full size Nails Inc polishes have an RRP of £11, so to pick up this one for £2 with the magazine (and a 20% off H&M voucher) was very good value.  I do love a good magazine freebie!

Doggy Print Bag - Simply Fashion Jewellery Manchester

Have I been having a lucky few months, or what?!  I have been networking a lot more lately, with Addicted2Sparkle, to try and boost my online presence.  Along the way I have come across many lovely pages, with products which I will be definitely keeping in mind for birthdays and other special occasions.  I have also entered a few giveaways, in which I have been rather successful!!

I was browsing a page - FlutterByGail - when I noticed a giveaway with a doggy print bag as one of the prizes. I have seen this print around quite a bit when I have been having a browse and I love it.

I never thought I'd be lucky enough to win in the giveaway (which had 11 individual prizes), let alone win the exact prize which made me enter!  I won the doggy print bag, from Simply Fashion Jewellery Manchester.

And here it is....

Mini Minx and Mama - Sari Silk Wrap Bracelet

I have had a very lucky few months, competition wise!  I also won a prize a couple of months ago, back when my laptop was not functioning!

The prize I won was from Mini Minx and Mama's facebook page giveaway.  I guessed the right amount of components needed to make a silk wrap bracelet (7).  My prize was a custom sari silk wrap bracelet - how exciting!  I had to make decisions though, such as colour and what I would like stamped on to the bracelet.... decisions, decisions!  I chose dark blue, and some paw prints, stars, and hearts.  I love how the bracelet turned out and it is so different to anything I have seen before, and completely unique!

Take a look!

Jazzie's Crafty Candles

Check out these awesome wax melts/tarts from Jazzie's Crafty Candles, which I won in a competition held over on Gemini Gem's Facebook page before Christmas.  I actually won two prizes, these are the first of my prizes.  How lucky am I!

They smell so good!  I'm not too great at identifying smells, but the beige/orange coloured ones smell like something which I have eaten before... I just can't put my finger on it.  Both of the colours smell good enough to eat though.  *Update* I believe the beige/orange coloured melt is chocolate orange scent!

A look back at 2014: May & June

Take a look at the first part of my 2014 HERE.

May was another good month for my nails!  I was lucky enough to get tickets for both the Saturday and Sunday of the Radio One Big Weekend in Glasgow!  It was AMAZING.  I still can't believe all the acts we saw performing over the two days, fantastic!  I stayed at Hannah's for the weekend, and on the Monday we went to the Ideal Home Show, where I won a One Direction DVD!!

Happy New Year! Let's take a look back at 2014...

Happy New Year readers!

As with any year, 2014 was a year full of highs and lows, but I am pleased to report that personally there were far more highs than lows!  Let's take a look back at the first part of 2014 shall we?

2014 was the year of the Commonwealth Games.  In January, I continued my role as a Protocol and Commomnwealth Games Association Assistant.  This was only for a week, however, it certainly started off the Commonwealth Games year on the right foot.  It was back on with the blue polo shirt and khaki trousers (luckily they still fitted!).

February was a quiet month for me, however, that meant I had plenty of time to concentrate on  nail art!  Here are some of my manicures from February.
